Auctioned Alfa GT brings in 90,000 euros

On the occasion of the Cannes Film Festival, Alfa Romeo and "Cinema against AIDS" organised a charity event at the "Moulins de Mougins". Here, Sharon Stone and Lapo Elkann auctioned off a splendid Alfa GT in front of an audience of more than 400 international stars of the film world, fashion and photography.

The best offer was 90,000 euro which took home this sparkling sports coupé, a car that encapsulates all Alfa Romeo's heritage of motoring excellence in a range characterised by the elegance and taste of the Italian design school.

The entire sum will go to "AMFAR" and the "Elton John AIDS Foundation", which organised the event and which are at the forefront in the struggle against this serious global issue.
